Amit Upadhye brings worldly knowledge to design: Born in India , with stints in Singapore and Scottsdale , Arizona , where he's currently based, Upadhye imbues his designs with architectural pedigree and philosophical thought. Upadhye launched the AU Design Studio in 2007, and focuses on bringing beauty to the small details of life: including tealight candle holders in African wedge wood and tissue paper rolls inspired by Mark Rothko.
