With a sleek bent-steel tube stand and wide circular fabric shade, the Eltoo Floor Lamp mixes seamless vision with warmly diffused light, all in a knockout black form. Eltoo’s weighted stand provides stability to the light frame, which seems to dine on gravity alone. The Brooklyn-based Gloeckle was a finalist in the 2008 Phoenix Contemporary Design Fair and runner-up for the 2007 Young Designer Award, presented by Design Within Reach and New York’s Pratt Institute, which makes him one to watch.
